✿A short story about the beautiful things summer brings✿
Floral scents caress the air, birds chirp and hop along the grass and leaves drop daintily onto the pathway. Walking through gardens and flower beds there are coral and golden coloured roses, their enticing aroma is sweet and delicate like honey on toast.
Continuing further down the winding stone path, you see the still silky river sitting calmly on your right. The waters' surface is covered with many water lilies, their pink petals bathing in the sunlight which extends down upon them. Following the path along there are many more things in sight, resting ducks sit next to the wooden bench, herons' soar through the cerulean coloured sky and butterflies flutter elegantly to nearby flowers.
On your walk in nature you notice the crisp old leaves slowly falling to the ground, making space for fresh budding flowers and leaves to bloom and flourish. The mindful walk you have embarked upon has lead you to deep green trees which shade the path, brightly potted tangerine flowers arranged around the water fountain and white roses which climb upon the railing next to the bench you are sat on.
